With offices in Northern and Southern New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Southern Florida, we have been able to provide attorneys with vocational expert services that assist them in evaluating their Social Security Disability claimants.
The evaluations conducted by the vocational experts at Occupational Assessment Services are unique. We not only review all of the medical records, Social Security documents, conduct a standardized diagnostic vocational interview, but can also test the claimant using the most modern techniques, including a computerized measurement of aptitudes and abilities. We are one of the few vocational rehabilitation companies experienced with testing the aptitudes and abilities of Spanish and non-English speaking persons.
The interview and test battery can be administered via the internet allowing claimant’s throughout the United States to obtain this valuable expert service.
The vocational expert opinions offered are based on our objective assessment of the claimant’s vocational capabilities based on the record review, standardized diagnostic evaluation, vocational testing (if needed), transferability skill’s analysis, and labor market research in the person’s local geographical area to determine if any “significant number of jobs” exist in the local or national labor market that the claimant could perform.
When the case goes to a Hearing, we will work closely with the attorney so they can better understand our evaluation and prepare you for cross-examination of the government’s impartial expert testimony.
OAS Experts have testified in numerous Social Security Disability cases. We have been recognized as Vocational Experts in the Federal Courts of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
